The Futureproof website is a system leading platform which gives direct support to carers and parents to aid and facilitate those vital family discussions about decisions on Post-18 destinations such as University, employment, apprenticeship or Higher Qualification offerings.
The monitoring and tracking of engagement and understanding of Pupils interests and levels of knowledge are critical to inform appropriate interventions and tailored conversations on your child’s future decisions. To support you in this we have created a number of online tools, quizzes and surveys that can be completed alongside your child to assist them in making important decisions regarding their future.

As we embark on this exciting journey of exploration and growth, we invite the entire T6 community to actively participate in and support our Careers Programme. Together, we can inspire and prepare our students for a future full of possibilities. Join our NPCAT Parent/Carer group. The group will meet online to discuss the following: careers in curriculum, the world of work, work experience and give feedback on your child’s careers education.

Gov.uk Careers guidance provision for young people in schools
The Prince’s Trust We help young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training.
The National Careers Service – provides information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. The service offers confidential and impartial advice. This is supported by qualified careers advisers.
UCAS – We provide application services across a range of subject areas and modes of study for UK higher education providers.
Career Pilot – Your choices at 14, 16 and 18, explore different job sectors and how you can study and work at the same time – even to university level.
Futureproof – Students of NPCAT’s very own Careers information and guidance online platform, designed to meet the needs of all individuals.
Through the Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship, Careers and Finance and Economic Awareness (PSHCCE) curriculum programme your child will be provided with lots of opportunities to explore career options available to them in the future. The dedicated Careers Team are available to deliver quality careers guidance and support every step of the way. In addition to PSHCCE lessons your child will be invited to participate in a range of events with colleges and training providers, and also local employers, organisations and universities.
