Our superb dining facility for T6 students is open daily from 9am.

Christened Martha’s Kitchen – in honour of the patron saint of cooks and hospitality – the restaurant serves a delicious and nutritious range of breakfasts and lunches which is overseen by Trust Executive Chef Paul O’Hara. Paul has more than 30 years of experience in the catering sector, mainly working with hotels and Michelin starred restaurants. Such as Selfridge Hotel on Oxford Street, Redworth Hall near Newton Aycliffe, 21 Hospitality Group in Newcastle & Five Red Star Rockliffe Hall Hotel in Hurworth.

The day-to-day operation is run by Trust Assistant Chef Keanan Pattison, whose
previous customers have included Premier League football teams, PGA golf stars and
guests at the 5 red Star Rockliffe Hall Hotel, where he was Head Chef.
Martha’s Kitchen is open to students and staff, giving them the choice of food to help
them get through the day.

The space has been created for dining, studying and relaxing, making Martha’s Kitchen
the perfect hub for the whole college, with a unique buzz that everyone can enjoy.

CATERING ENRICHMENT
Our Executive Chef & Assistant Chef also run a catering enrichment class on a
wednesday from 12:30PM, teaching the students how to create mouthwatering dishes
ready for further education or just to further their knowledge.
